Welcome

I have been designing and making bespoke furniture from my workshop in South Oxfordshire since 1995. Working directly with my clients, I develop individual ideas into carefully considered designs before making each piece by hand, from bespoke furniture and fitted cabinetry to kitchens and unusual one-off commissions.

A project might begin with a conversation, a photograph, a rough sketch or simply an idea for a particular room. I develop that starting point through sketches and detailed drawings, resolving proportion, materials, construction and practical requirements before making, delivering and installing the finished piece.

Japanese Garden Bridge in IrokoOne-Off Commission

A sculptural garden bridge in iroko, curved to cross a planted pond and built to weather gracefully outdoors. The design draws on Japanese garden traditions while being made entirely by hand in my workshop. I chose iroko for its durability and the way it weathers over time, becoming part of the garden rather than sitting apart from it.

From idea to finished piece.

Every commission starts with a conversation. I develop your ideas through sketches and drawings, resolving proportion, materials and construction before taking the design into the workshop and making the finished piece.

Have something in mind?

Every commission starts with a conversation. Whether you have a clear idea, a rough sketch or simply a space that needs something particular, I can develop the concept into a design and take it through to the finished piece.
